Dermalogica Expert Skin Therapist Status
The Dermalogica Expert programme is A 3-tier programme rewarding Skin Therapists hard work, knowledge and commitment to education by recognising their professional skills. As the Therapist completes more Educational workshops with Dermalogica they will progress higher up the ladder – culminating in the achievement of the ultimate mark of professionalism, Dermalogica Expert status. When you book in for a Dermalogica Skin Treatment at Mystique you will be attended to by an Expert Status Therapist!
We are Dermalogica Clean Touch Certified!
This specialist training was introduced by Dermalogica during the Covid-19 crisis. It’s aim was to provide skin therapists with the training and knowledge in Principles of Enhanced Service Safety. Everyone who learns these principles will become Dermalogica Clean Touch Certified, which means they promise to uphold Dermalogica’s highest standards in safety and sanitation. These standards are to be observed in addition to, not in place of, state-board or local authority regulations.
The MASCED Accreditation Programme
The MASCED Accreditation Programme has been developed by Skcin to significantly raise awareness of the early signs and symptoms of skin cancer and to promote the early detection of melanoma, to improve prognosis and save lives. The programme has also been developed to raise awareness of the importance of Sun Safety to aid the prevention of around 86% of melanoma and the majority of all skin cancer cases. This supports the call by public health figures for a wider perspective on who is most effective to help improve the nation’s health and address concerns raised in the Government’s 2020 Skin Cancer Vision. Skcin strongly believes that offering this training to the health and beauty industry, will provide a vital first line of defence against this deadly and devasting disease.
Our Clinic
Mystique Beauty, Skincare and Aesthetics was founded by Elayne Mullen-Jordan in 2006. Elayne qualified as an Aesthetician in 2001 and has over 20 years experience in the beauty industry. She is accomplished in all forms of beauty therapy but her niche lies in Skin Care and she has trained extensively in this area. She has built up a reputation for achieving results for clients whatever their skin concerns may be. She avoids trends and fad based treatments and prefers to carry treatments and products that are backed by solid scientific and medical research.
Elayne works alongside three other expert therapists, each with their own individual strengths and skillset that elevate the Clinic. As well as Advanced Skin Care the Team at Mystique offer an extensive variety of cosmetic, therapeutic, and grooming treatments carried out with the most pleasant, professional and confidential service.
The Multi award-winning Clinic has worked conscientiously to achieve distinction and continues to endeavour on improving and maintaining standards across the business.
